• GPW INDEX & THE THIRTY BIGGEST COMPANIES ON POLISH MARKET
Following the decision undertaken by Warsaw Stock Exchange management on November 10th, after the quarterly index revision on 18th December, 2015, CD Project shall be a part of WIG30, the GPW index listing the thirty biggest companies on Polish market. The Warsaw-based video game producer and distributor, founded in 1994, has been steadily gaining in popularity on international markets thanks to The Witcher trilogy – series of video games based on award winning books by Andrzej Sapkowski. The third entry in the series, Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, released on May 19th, 2015, sold over 6 million copies in the six weeks following its launch, giving the studio a profit of $62.5 million USD in the first half of 2015.
